Off the Waffle

For the Off the Waffle restaurant in Eugene, we worked with an existing concrete slab which was covered with carpet. To restore the concrete flooring to its potential, we first removed the carpet, glue and thin-set mortar to get at the exposed slab. This floor required a medium to heavy grind polish with a finishing acid stain to match the color scheme and décor of the room.

Beyond the restoration of the concrete floor, we hand-painted the glass jar light fixtures (seen below), a focal point of the room. We completed the renovation by painting the walls and ceiling with four custom colors to match these  fixtures, providing a unique and inviting ambience.
